About Me

My name is Trace Terry, and I’m a professional soccer player passionate about helping the next generation of athletes develop their game and reach their full potential.

I played collegiately at Bowling Green State University, where I competed at a high level and developed the discipline and work ethic required to succeed in the game. After college, I continued my career at the professional level, currently playing with Fort Wayne FC.

Throughout my journey, I’ve experienced the level of commitment, training, and mindset it takes to compete at higher levels of soccer. My goal is to pass that knowledge on to younger players by creating a training environment that is challenging, competitive, and focused on real development.

I’m committed to helping players improve their technical ability, confidence, and understanding of the game so they can take the next step in their soccer journey.

My Personal Achievements

I’ve been fortunate to build a soccer career that combines both collegiate and professional experience. I played at Bowling Green State University, where I served as team captain and finished my career tied for second in program history with game-winning goals and ranked among the top in career goals and points. During my time at BGSU, I earned multiple accolades, including United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team, TopDrawerSoccer All-America Third Team, and recognition on the Hermann Trophy Watch List as well as the United Soccer Coaches Forward to Watch.

Following college, I was selected in the third round (76th overall) of the 2025 MLS SuperDraft and now play professionally with Fort Wayne FC. Beyond my playing career, I’ve gained experience in player development, training youth athletes in private sessions, small groups, and team settings — helping them improve technically, tactically, and mentally.

Through my experiences, I’ve learned the dedication, discipline, and mindset required to compete at high levels, and I bring that same focus and professionalism to every training session I lead.
